Accessibility

All Jerusalem Design Week exhibitions have disabled access. However, due to the nature of the buildings where the exhibitions are installed, some areas may be less accessible. Please be sure to follow the signs and do not hesitate to contact us.

The accessible entrance on Dubnov Street leads to an elevator that goes to all floors. There is a second accessible entrance on Gedalyahu Alon Street.

Public parking is available at the Jerusalem Theatre parking lot and on nearby streets. All three entrances have disabled parking spots adjacent to them.

Hansen House–Jerusalem Cinematheque Shuttle

During Jerusalem Design Week, a free shuttle will operate between Hansen House and the Jerusalem Cinematheque, which is hosting the Jerusalem Film Festival at the same time. The service will provide convenient transportation between two of the city’s major cultural venues throughout the festival days, allowing visitors to combine exhibitions, events, and screenings on the same day.

The shuttle will operate according to the schedule listed below, departing from Hansen House every hour on the hour and from the Jerusalem Cinematheque every half hour during operating hours.

Hansen House – opposite the main entrance, 14 Gedaliahu Alon Street.
Jerusalem Cinematheque – at the bus stop adjacent to the entrance.

The shuttle service is free of charge and no advance registration is required. Visitors are advised to arrive at the stop a few minutes before departure time.

Staying in the City During Jerusalem Design Week

Alongside its artistic program, Jerusalem Design Week offers a rich and immersive urban experience, in collaboration with selected hotels offering a 25% discount throughout the festival days.

Guests staying overnight in Jerusalem will receive a dedicated wristband granting access to selected benefits, including priority access to the shuttle, discounts at the Hansen House sports bar, and special offers at leisure venues across the city.

Guided Tours of Jerusalem Design Week

Portfolio Magazine invites you to VIP tours of the unique exhibitions and projects at Jerusalem Design Week 2026, located at Beit Hansen. Under the theme "Match Point," you will discover ideas rich in originality, beauty, interest, and depth of thought. We invite you to meet the designers and creators and experience an exclusive hour and a half with us before the event opens to the general public.

Dates: July 12-16, 2026 (Sunday-Thursday)

Time: 15:00

The duration of the tour is approximately one hour.

The tours will be conducted in Hebrew.

The price of the tour is NIS 90 per participant, and it is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Meeting Point: Near the Swedish wooden tower in the Hansen House yard.

The Design Week exhibitions will be open to the general public. However, due to the nature of the buildings in which the exhibitions are held, space may be limited.

Flora Food Court

As every year, Flora will host the JDW Food Court at the Water Cistern, inspired by the culture of fast-food stands in sports stadiums.

Sports Bar

This year, visitors will be welcomed by an active installation — a festive Sports Bar that serves as a gathering point where guests can keep up with events across Jerusalem Design Week and watch FIFA World Cup matches with a cold beer in hand.

Martini VIP Bar

VIP Bar for festival guests, located on Hansen House’s iconic front terrace. Overlooking everything from above, guests can enjoy music, live DJ sets, and exceptional Martini cocktails and drinks. Capacity is limited.

Ofaimme Farm

Located in the historic Doctor’s House at Hansen House are the café and shop of Ofaimme Farm, an agricultural initiative that promotes sustainable farming, ecological responsibility, fair trade, and the production of traditional artisanal goods.
